Leading SOM’s European practice, Gabriele has over 25 years of international experience.
He has broad expertise in the design and delivery of high-rise commercial and residential buildings, honed during his time at SOM’s New York office, where he worked on projects such as Pertamina (the first Net Zero super-tall), Arthaland Towers (the first LEED Platinum office in Manila), and Singapore’s Guoco Tower. Since 2015 in London, he has overseen major developments including Charenton-Bercy in Paris, Corso Italia 23 in Milan, and the Milano Cortina Olympic Village for the 2026 Winter Games.
He currently manages master plans in Italy and Poland, as well as projects in France, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, and Italy, while also driving SOM’s business development in Europe and Africa.
