Ivan Velkov

Ivan Velkov is an economist who graduated from the Capital University of Economics and Business in Beijing. He has specialized in Chinese language at the Beijing Language and Culture University, in political science at the Council of Europe, in the national program “Management Skills” at the Bulgarian School of Politics, as well as at the National Association of Realtors (USA) and the Institute of Real Estate Management in Chicago.

He has served as Managing Director of Colliers International, Regional Partner at Colliers Southeast Europe, Regional Director at Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria, Honorary Lecturer in “Management Consulting” at the Department of Real Estate Management at UNWE, Chairman of the Managing Board of the National Real Estate Association, and Deputy Chairman of the Sofia Municipal Council.

Ivan Velkov has extensive experience as a consultant, manager, and lecturer in international and Bulgarian companies and universities. He has led and trained teams working on investment projects and has been a member of the governing bodies of various Bulgarian and international professional and industry organizations.
